Villa Angelina

Set right on the water's edge on the Maddalena Peninsula, about 10 km south of Syracuse, Villa Angelina is a refined seafront retreat for up to 8 guests. The villa has direct access to the rocky shoreline below, while the private pool, well-kept lawned garden and generous terraces – one with a motorised pergola, ideal for dining outdoors – make it easy to spend whole days without leaving the property.

Spread over three floors and more than 300 m², the villa offers plenty of space for everyone. The ground floor is the social heart of the house, with an open-plan living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room, a private fitness room and a bathroom with steam generator. On the first floor are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a bright living room whose floor-to-ceiling windows open onto a sea-view terrace. The top floor has two further bedrooms, including the master suite with walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower.

The interiors are elegant and comfortable, with air conditioning and heating in every room, Wi-Fi with a work station, satellite TV, a Sonos sound system, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, barbecue and safe. Daily maid service is included.

The historic centre of Syracuse is a short drive away, and the villa is an excellent base for exploring the baroque towns of Noto, Modica, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla, the Vendicari and Cavagrande del Cassibile nature reserves, the fishing villages of Marzamemi and Portopalo di Capo Passero and, further afield, Mount Etna and Taormina.
