Villa Tauro

Villa Tauro sits on the edge of Letojanni, a popular seaside resort a few kilometres north of Taormina, in a raised position looking out over the Bay of Taormina. The view stays with you around the house: from the pool, from the terraces and from the garden.

The villa is modern in style and spread over three levels, with more than 500 m² of living space. The heart of the house is a large, bright open-plan room with a sitting area, a TV corner, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen, plus a guest bathroom. Big windows run along the room, so the sea is in view wherever you sit.

All seven bedrooms are doubles with their own en-suite shower room. Three are on the ground floor, two on the first floor (one with a king-size bed) and two more on the lower floor, which makes the house easy to share between families or groups of friends.

Outside, a pergola shelters an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and a dining area, and there are terraces, a sun terrace and a garden. The 18-metre pool is treated with salt instead of chlorine and is open all year.

Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a dishwasher are all there, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily. A baby cot and a highchair are available.

Taormina's old town, with its shops, restaurants and evening life, is a short drive away. Mazzarò, Isola Bella and Catania make easy day trips, as do the villages on the slopes of Mount Etna, the Alcantara gorges and the fishing towns of the Riviera dei Ciclopi.
